Today is a truly special day, a lovely day, an important day. Today is the day that marks my parents 19th anniversary.

19 years

I have known my parents for 16 of those wonderful years. I can tell you a few stories from those years. stories about the two most caring, kind and amazing people I know. I could not ask for two better parents.

To my Dad. I know that I can always count on you for a laugh. Your a funny guy. I mean just look at that face! Seriously though, I look up to you. You go out of your way to make everybody in your family happy. You care about each of us, and it is obvious, But you especially care about Mom. While I’m only 16, and I can’t begin to understand your life together, I do understand the look on your face when you talk about Mom. 

To my Mom. 11 is a lot more like you than I am, but I think that that strengthens the things we do have. The games that we play, The movies and shows that we like, are all wonderful things that we share. I know that you’ll be there when I’m feeling down, even if I don’t want it. I know that you’ll be there to make me happy, to keep me safe, and to let me know I’m loved when the world decides to break me.

To both of you. You love each other dearly, and I love you. Happy Anniversary.
